Blue Origin LLC Transporter Program Lead - Lunar Permanence in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's multiple Blue Moon lander product lines. To further Blue Origin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface. This position has responsibility to support the program management office and work with that BU's Program Managers to ensure program budgets, schedules, and other key deliverables are managed responsibly in compliance to this policy, performance metrics drive the desired behaviors, and risks are identified and mitigated in accordance with their program risk process. To successfully achieve this, the Program Management Team shall partner with their internal team, as well as other Blue Origin matrixed functional groups (e.g., Operations, Engineering and Program Management, Finance, Legal & Compliance including Contract Administration). Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support the programs business rhythm by organizing and preparing for, staff meetings, operating reviews (weekly program coordination meetings), decision boards, monthly corporate reporting, quarterly and annual planning cycles. Coordinate DAC planning events with the vehicle management teams Coordinate with the data analytics team to develop, and maintain effective program metrics Coordinate with the functional PMO support teams to provide cost and schedule baseline revisions Lead Program Operations reporting with a focus on the performance of financial, organization planning, staffing, tasking, and risk assessment. Support the contract and subcontract activity within Program Operations as you integrate requirements across Engineering, Supply Chain, suppliers and/or customers. Support the PMO team to ensure compliance with the Blue Origin Program Management Policy which ensures programs are correctly initiated, planned, executed, monitored, controlled, and closed in accordance with Blue Origin and industry program management best practices. Minimum Qualifications: Passion for our mission: Millions of people living and working in space! 8+ years of Aerospace experience in a program management office Bachelor's Degree in engineering discipline Confident presenter to company Management Excellent written communication and presentation skills Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
