Blue Origin LLC Technical Project Manager III - New Glenn in Seattle, Washington

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-liftorbital launch vehicle capable ofroutinelycarrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar,and beyond.Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designedfrom the beginningto be human-capable. As the Fluids and Propulsion Engineering Technical Project Manager, you will report directly to the New Product Develop Manager to improve the overall execution of the team. You will lead projects across the entire product life cycle from research, design development, final flight hardware design, manufacturing, and production. Your primary responsibilities will be creating and handling budgets, schedules, work breakdown structure, and program plans to ensure products are delivered to meet program needs. With your help we will quantitatively lead our scope by presenting status, risks & opportunities, variances, and recovery plans to engineering and program management. You will be hands on with the team directing and leading the week-to-week planning and execution. You will be responsible for the programmatic key performance metrics (cost, schedule, risk) and maintaining alignment between the program level plan and our team's day-to-day performance. Qualifications: Experience Managing suppliers who have shown difficulties meeting schedules and has proven track record at deliver results. Experience flowing contract changes to suppliers. B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Mathematics, or related subject areas 5+ years of experience planning and managing projects/programs including managing priorities, scope, schedule, integration, and cost. Experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management, and Cost Account Management Experience with P6 Primavera, MS Project, or similar scheduling software packages Corporate and subcontract financial experience Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while regularly providing imaginative and detailed solutions to sophisticated problems Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred: Experience with cryogenic liquid, gas distribution, and propulsion systems Experience with cryogenic valves and pumps Experience managing New Glenn top ten supplier. MBA degree or equivalent experience Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience Proficient with MS Excel capabilities such as Macros, Power Query and Power Pivot Experience leading sophisticated highly integrated products Compensation Range for: WA applicants is $115,920.00-$162,288.00 Other site ranges may differ Inclusivity Stat
