This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will enable and support the manufacturing and delivery of critical hardware in the design of ground equipment, engines, launch vehicles, and in-space projects. You will support procurement and bridge the gap between internal program engineering and Blue Origin's critical supplier partners. You will enable on-time delivery of hardware by solving technical issues in the supply base, mitigating non-conformances, generating DfX (design for...) feedback, and driving the creation of strategic and sourceable statements of work. Special Mentions Relocation provided Travel expected up to 30% of the time Multiple positions available Responsibilities include but are not limited to: resolving technical issues and developing and sustaining suitable manufacturing processes in the supply base to satisfy part and program requirements. owning technical risk identification and mitigation strategies at the supplier. This includes being the first on-site at the supplier to engage and facilitate failure investigations and RCCA activity as needed. engaging with multiple commodities across all Blue Origin business units. recovering or maintaining critical schedules and ensuring requirement conformance at supplier partners. reviewing statements of work for sourceability. identifying and providing DfX feedback to design engineering. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university 2+ years of related experience Proven understanding of engineering fundamentals for design and manufacturing Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate technical topics to non-subject matter experts Strong creative problem-solving and collaboration skills Ability to learn, grow and address new challenges in a fast-paced environment Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Preferred Qualifications Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment Experience interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Practical knowledge of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process Lean Manufacturing experience Aerospace Experience Experience in Statement of Work (SOW) generation Experience performing supplier assessments Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $72,900-$106,920 Compensation range for on site CA applicants is $72,900-$106,920 Other site ranges may differ Applicat
