Providence St. Joseph Health Supervisor - Facilities Construction in Seattle, Washington
Description The Construction Supervisor coordinates activities surrounding remodels, new construction and minor building projects. Ensures published facility standards are use by consultants, contractors and Facilities staff. Responsible for assisting management in receiving, reviewing and responding to project requests, preparing/submitting bids and/or document review. Acts as liaison between contractors/project managers and Swedish Medical Center to insure consistency, compatibility and compliance with established furnishing and plant standards. Collaborate with Facilities management to coordinate staff activities with construction/project activities. Insures skilled trades (painters, carpenters) are being fully utilized, balancing work load with requests, projects and scheduled maintenance, recommends resources as indicated by work loads and financial advantages. Required qualifications: Associate's Degree in Construction management, engineering management, engineering, or related field or Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement 7 years experience in construction and remodeling project management Experience in a computer based maintenance software system Work history in architectural, project management, facility engineer or contractor field Verifiable work experience demonstrated coordination and team work skills Preferred qualifications: Healthcare or hospital experience Why Join Providence?
