Seattle Children's Study Intake Specialist in Seattle, Washington

The Clinical Research Support Office (CRSO) is a central office of Seattle Children's Research Institute (SCRI) responsible for oversight of clinical trial start-up functions of budgeting, coverage analysis, and implementation of financial feasibility process.

The Study Intake Specialist will be responsible for supporting the work of clinical trial intake and start-up. The Study Intake Specialist reviews the study intake document(s), triaging the intake form until all required documents have been procured. The incumbent will assign protocols to the Clinical Research Budget Analysts per a determined method and will create OnCore CTMS task lists for all incoming studies. The incumbent will manage summary accrual studies, studies with staff changes and ensure start up activity requirements are met for study activation in a timely manner. The incumbent will perform quality control for OnCore CTMS financials prior to study activation. The incumbent will be responsible for using current and future systems used by Seattle Children's, such as Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) and support ongoing maintenance and improvement of existing workflows and systems.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in health sciences, business, information technology, or equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience supporting professional staff in healthcare, research, analytics, or related field, and performing a combination of the following: data entry, management, and analysis; drafting, editing, and developing communications, presentations and reports; project and administrative coordination in a team environment. 2 years of experience in a clinical research setting as a study coordinator, data coordinator, post-award administrator or other administrative capacities.

Administration and coordination experience in a clinical research setting. Previous experience working with clinical trials management systems. OnCore Financials and OnCore Calendar Build Certifications. Experience as a clinical data coordinator. Experience working with Epic.

Compensation Range

$63,170.00 - $94,744.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
