Harborview - Laundry and Linen has an outstanding opportunity for a STOCKROOM ATTENDANT LEAD WORK SCHEDULE

  • 100% FTE, NIGHTS POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Oversee the linen room operation as well as other activities such as ordering linen supplies, scheduling, assigning work duties to staff and assume other duties of the supervisor in the supervisor’s absence. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

  • Our team values excellent customer service and timely response PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Assist supervisor in daily routine operations.

  • Supervise and assist Stockroom Attendant I and II.

  • Maintain daily accurate records of lab coats, uniforms, customer service calls, par levels and other items as required.

  • Check and perform daily inventory control using manual method and with computer application using Linen Helper program.

  • Generate reports using Linen Helper and mail to departmental managers.

  • Receive orders from UW Consolidated Laundry and check receipts and invoices.

  • Answer and respond to telephone calls.

  • Use big carts, baskets, pager, radio, and weighing scale.

  • Clean and perform custodial duties in the stockroom area.

  • Use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and E-Mail to compose letters, spreadsheets and correspondence with other personnel in the department and/or the hospital. REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS High school graduation or equivalent AND one year of full-time experience in retail selling, shipping, and receiving or warehouse work or as a Stockroom Attendant II OR equivalent education/experience.
