Responsibilities: Integrating state and local tax services with existing clients Completing tax planning and researchtasks Developing an understanding of state and local tax regulations and accounting pronouncements Reviewingclient's currenttaxprocessestoidentifyinefficienciesandprovideenhancements to improve the clients' procedures and reduce taxexposure Working with the client'sinformation technologypersonnel to obtain dataof historical purchasing and sales to analyzefor reportingrequirements, auditprocedures,and review forpotential refund orcredits Assisting the client withevaluatingsales/usetax software systemsthat meet their compliance needs and support the implementationprocess BasicQualifications: Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university Accounting major Travel to assigned client locations is required.
