The Amazon Business (AB) Pricing team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help own and drive foundational areas of our program. This is a role that will challenge you to dive deep, find innovative solutions and drive consensus across stakeholders. Amazon Business launched in 2015 with a vision to give businesses a simple, personalized and transparent online B2B experience. An extension of this vision was to simplify the integration for businesses connecting their e-procurement systems to Amazon Business, while giving them access to a broader selection of products and sellers.

Key job responsibilities

In this role, you will own and drive evolution of key pricing programs and their operations, including Rebates, Custom Offers and Quantity Discounts. You will create mechanisms to track project execution and health in this space. You will also help run-down and remediate any operational concerns that may exist in these areas. A successful candidate is a leader able to thrive in ambiguity, and remain fearless to solve hard, complex technical problems. They will possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively align leaders across AB and Amazon on our status and strategy. We’re looking for someone who is passionate to innovate, and cares about creating the best quality customer experiences.

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

• 3+ years of software development experience

• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

• Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
