Amazon Sr. Program Manager, Selling Partner Listings Experience, Core SPX-Listings in Seattle, Washington

The Core Selling Partner Experience (CSPE) team builds world-class experiences to help Selling Partners across the world bring great selection at low prices for our shopping customers. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager to lead critical initiatives for our Selling Partner Listings APIs.

The Program Manager will partner with product, engineering, developer services and other key stakeholders to drive adoption and developer outreach of the Selling Partner Listings APIs in partnership with developer services, understand the key developer pain points and influence product roadmap and drive listings defect elimination and program and tech improvements to detect and resolve issues at scale.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses a passion for understanding and working backwards from our external and internal developers/clients, selling partners, a broad understanding of the various products and programs which support our Selling Partners, and the ability to manage and execute complex projects involving multiple stakeholders. The candidate must be comfortable diving into data, distilling insights, holding internal reviews and representing Listings APIs to external developers.

Key job responsibilities

  • Execute programs focused on the delivery of a new and existing features, processes, product, or systems with high ownership.

  • Apply analytical skills to identify trends and business impact within reported issues and develop projects to eliminate the root causes.

  • Drive and facilitate complex projects focusing on results and measuring outcomes.

  • Assist with the definition and design of tools, standard operating procedures and processes.

  • Design scaled processes by gathering functional requirements, identifying resources needed, and defining milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery of the projects.

  • Influence stakeholders (including Global process owners, Site leaders, Operation managers, Account Managers) outside your direct area of responsibility to ensure delivery.

  • Identify and mitigate risks, and remove roadblocks within projects.

  • Drive accountability from stakeholders for progress on key program actions through active engagement and escalation.

  • Conduct effective meetings (business and program reviews) and able to dive deeply into details as easily as convey high-level plans with clear and concise verbal and written communication.

  • Transform raw thoughts into clear documentation and requirements (e.g., project charter, statement of work, responsibility matrix, functional requirements, implementation approach, reporting).

  • Audit activities impacting selling partners and developers and drive process improvement.

About the team

The Core Selling Partner Listing Experience team, within CSPE, focuses on improving the Selling Partner product listing experience through the Listings APIs for our external developers and Selling Partners across our Seller and Vendor central experiences. We do this through experience consolidation, driving consistency across the Selling Partners experience, and developing new experiences to help our Selling Partners sell successfully on Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience with communications platforms and content management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
