Amazon Sr. Program Manager, New Seller Success in Seattle, Washington

Help global business accelerate their growth and realize the benefits of selling in Amazon's store. This role is responsible for defining critical seller milestones and working backwards plans to achieve them. This role will drive worldwide alignment on value-added programs for sellers and create tailored plans. This position is for an Sr. Program Manager on the New Seller Success team.

We're seeking a passionate and talented Program Manager with a track record of delivery, ownership, cross-functional influence, and appetite to experiment and innovate on behalf of Amazon sellers.

Key job responsibilities

The Sr. Program Manager will own the working backwards roadmap for sellers to accelerate growth. You will determine when it is beneficial to develop standardized programs worldwide and when it is better to customize by region. You will work cross-functionally with Program, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams that drive new seller success. You will own creating mechanisms to audit success, report worldwide progress, and align on your roadmap. You will proactively manage change control, lead experiments with new tools and processes, remove obstacles and provide guidance to ensure seamless delivery. You will contribute to operational planning, and contribute actively to scaling both Seller Onboarding and New Seller Success.

About the team

The New Seller Success team consists of Marketing, Product, Program, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams who are responsible for helping sellers be successful in Amazon's store. We are focused on (1) establishing a global framework for understanding and accelerating new seller growth, (2) identifying and attracting high-potential sellers into our stores, (3) optimizing the seller registration process, and (4) creating a personalized, scalable onboarding experience to guide sellers through the early milestones in their journey.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • 5+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • 5+ years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience with complex problem solving and navigating ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
