The Selling Partner Recruitment and Success (SPRS) organization identifies and recruits the brands and products our customers want and helps drive their success by ensuring a strong start on Amazon. The Sr. Program Manager for Learning and Development will create, execute, and continuously iterate role-based/vertical sales learning sessions for existing account teams, supporting specific training needs. They will add this content to existing programs or deliver as net-new training/programs and where appropriate, conduct Train the Trainer sessions to scale relevant material to other verticals. The ideal candidate is resourceful, customer-focused and team oriented, with a background in sales enablement. They will enjoy the challenges of developing and improving processes in a dynamic organization. They are highly autonomous and have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. The Sr. PM, L&D, must be able to Think Big and Dive Deep, and be skilled at managing multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with employees at all levels. The ideal candidate will be highly detail and tasked oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Moreover, the ability to work in dynamic and ambiguous areas is imperative.

Description

Given the SPRS goal to build a healthy pipeline of new sellers and valuable selection for 3P, the Sr. PM, L&D, is responsible for foundational improvements in how we train account reps to engage with sellers throughout the one-year sales cycle. In this role, you will design, develop, and evaluate innovative and scalable learning solutions using modern learning technology and methods. You will dive deep into the role of your customers to understand their challenges. You will partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives, determine priorities based on business goals, and secure resources. You will work with Instructional Designers to produce engaging course content, learning activities, and knowledge assessments for instructor-led, online, virtual, and blended modalities. You will be the voice of the learner and the business, ensuring that their needs are at the forefront of our efforts and help our team iterate and improve our programs.

Key job responsibilities

• Become ingrained with the business, goals, challenges, inputs, tools, etc. of SPRS employees

• Iterate on and implement the strategy for SPRS new hire onboarding and sales training including but not limited to: developing measurements of success based upon business impact/metrics, implement live and self-directed learning programs, and creating a searchable platform to house our training e-learnings and courses

• Develop and deliver world-class training and learning opportunities that are scalable to enable our team to deliver the world’s best service for our Selling Partners

• Collaborate with our sales leaders to rapidly innovate and develop highly effective training material, assessments, and learning options

• Create and implement employee development programs to increase employee engagement and satisfaction

• Manage a curriculum portfolio to ensure the team has accurate and up to date training materials and assessments from new hire onboarding through continuing education and role specific accreditation programs

• Develop and use assessments to guide and validate learning

• Design and develop exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, and other methods of learning including social or connected learning strategies

• Perform needs analyses using available data and evaluate program results to continuously improve learning effectiveness and deliver results

• Work with key global stakeholders to ensure proper benchmarking and proper leverage of resources

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
