Amazon Sr. Program Manager, FireTV in Seattle, Washington

Description

Fire TV is how millions of people watch, share, and enjoy TV every day. We are looking for an innovative, highly motivated, and experienced individual to join the Fire TV team as a Senior Program Manager to drive customer growth and engagement.

As a Sr. Program Manager responsible for on-device merchandising and content operations, you will have direct influence on the Fire TV customer experience! You will be responsible for content programming by building documentation, educational materials, and communication mechanisms for 2P and 3P teams. You will work closely with teams across advertising, Prime Video, 3P app partners, product managers etc. to continuously improve and uphold the customer experience for Fire TV while enabling stakeholders to best utilize the UI. You will have a deep understanding of the Fire TV UX and content management systems. You will have shown that you can work autonomously and will be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, helping drive toward automation. You will have shown you’re able to work in a dynamic, international environment and can deliver results.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own merchandising content operations

  • Build documentation and educational materials to set stakeholders up for success

  • Define requirements for automation

  • Become a subject matter expert for content management systems

  • Own programs that upholds our on-device CX with partner teams

  • Monitor and streamline intake requests

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
