Description
The Amazon B2B Payments & Lending team aims to offer Amazon business customer Earth’s best payments and lending experience. This means creating trusted, convenient and frictionless products spanning credit card products, lending and invoicing solutions.
We are seeking an innovative product manager to be at the intersection of business, economics, and product development for a highly visible role with senior leaders. You will be developing strategies that create the economic conditions through incentives and added value services to drive B2B customer adoption, profitability and productivity. You will be working cross functionally with WW Business Leaders, Finance, Data Scientists, and Software Developers to create delightful incentives and service strategies and experiments, develop requirements for product solutions, and understand the economic impacts. The candidate must have excellent quantitative and data analytical abilities and have experience working with science / economists to assess and measure impact, and build predictive models. Candidate will have strong financial acumen to understand tradeoffs to Amazon's business and be able to work with Software Developers in building requirements and testing product solutions. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable in presenting work to senior leaders. Candidate must have a strong bias toward data-driven decision making with high impact.
Key job responsibilities
Develop incentive products with world-class user experiences with end to end product thinking - lead and undertake statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools
End to end product delivery including working with technical stakeholders including Technical Program Managers (TPMs), Software Development Managers (SDMs), and Applied Scientists, to outline and influence the technical design at all product life cycle stages
Lead internal technical conversation and own the trade-offs between technical cost and business value, and optimize QA/testing
Launching (A/B) tests, weblabs, hypothesis analysis and developing decision tree frameworks.
Work with science / economists to assess and measure impact and build predictive models
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of product and technology experience
Experience shaping and leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
Experience leading cross-functional projects with business and technical teams
Experience launching (A/B) tests, e-Commerce weblabs and hypothesis analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and generate innovative solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment
Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Ability to solve complex problems quantitatively and develop clear, data-driven business recommendations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
