Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently seeking a Project Executive to join our Service team in Seattle, WA. In this role, you will develop and manage Service projects and complex repairs, using appropriate strategies and tactics to meet assigned goals and objectives. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include: Manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed your individually assigned yearly projects revenue and gross margin goals. Provide support to the customer with regards to project financials, contractual and technical issues. Work with a large client base including the owner and business leaders for the company. Take ownership of projects as assigned by Manager. Perform oversight on all activities, project functions, and the resources needed. Serve as a primary point of contact with the customer during the project's implementation Assume financial responsibility for the projects - Including accurate, timely, and salient reporting to stakeholders. Act as a steward of all company policies and procedures. Respond to stakeholders with accurate and timely information to facilitate company decision-making. Exercise global decision making by considering other departments within the company such as Special Projects Group, Engineering, Accounting, Purchasing, etc. Assess site safety and implements actions to prevent injury to property and personnel. Ensures safety compliance of subcontractors and all on-site personnel. Facilitate timely invoice processing for clients, and timely processing of payments for subcontractors. Takes responsibility for the development and implementation of a comprehensive construction plan. Review subcontractor billing. Drafts subcontracts and purchase agreements. Prepare client and subcontractor change orders. Prepare monthly project accounting review (etc.). Draft subcontracts and purchase agreements. Monitor and proof change issue log What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience is required Three (3) years of project management experience in construction is required, with five (5) years preferred. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio required. Proficiency with scheduling/resource management software is preferred. CPM or similar professional designation is preferred. Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred. Knowledge of applicable codes required. Knowledge of equipment selection procedures. Includes layout of the equipment with required clearances and good design practices required. Knowledge of construction financial programs and software preferred. Basic estimating skills required. Knowledge of low voltage systems (HVAC Controls, etc.) is preferred.
