Job Application Deadline: 10/30/2024 The Opportunity DAT is looking for a seasoned Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Platform Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Organizations. This role will be split between two teams and can be based in the Beaverton/Portland area or Greater Seattle area. Candidate profile We are looking to hire an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager who can be part of a world-class team that builds DAT's infrastructure, cloud, and security platforms. What You'll Do Be responsible for defining and delivering important programs with broad organizational, business and technical impact. Provide cross-functional leadership with Engineering, Developers, Security and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes. Work with Platform Engineering to drive initiatives across the business related to implementation of third party SAAS products Leverage our operational excellence targets to help drive prioritization across our constituents. Wherever possible work by leveraging data and not spreadsheets to drive program reporting and technical roadmaps. Bring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions. Be hands-on, working closely with Software Engineers and Engineering Managers to design, build, and deliver the next generation of DAT's infrastructure services, information security and apps. Amplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices. Understand roadmaps, dashboards, telemetry, and why/how it is important to be well-managed Identify opportunities to improve execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and light-weight processes. The Skills and Experience You'll Bring 7+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise leading medium to large complex engineering projects in current cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) Strategic planning capabilities like OKRs, Smart Goals, etc. Ability to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment not slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities AWS, Observability tooling (Datadog/NewRelic preferred), Jira, Experience working cross functionally with engineering, product management, and other functions involved in the product life cycle (SDLC, CI/CD, etc.) Strong program management skills with technical and business acumen Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organiza
