We are currently looking for a technical Senior Project Manager to be based on-site with a high-profile client in Redmond, WA. In this client facing role, you will be working with a Program/Project Management team on a number of ongoing highly technical renovation/retrofit projects. This is a great opportunity to expand your project portfolio. Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess the following technical, project management & communication skills:

  • Technical
  • In-depth experience and understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and/or Plumbing systems, including pressurized gas systems
  • The ability to lead the installation needs of specialized equipment, including reviewing equipment cut sheets, evaluating locations, identifying system needs, coordinating installation, and ensuring start up and operationalization
  • Project Management
  • Experience managing a portfolio of projects from initial request, through scoping, designing, permitting, engineer/contractor management, and project completion/close out
  • The ability to overseeing the submission of project documentation for approvals from both internal stakeholders (client, users, etc) and external approvers (building department permits, fire department approvals, etc)
  • Learning and utilizing an electronic Project Management system to track budgets and schedules, including providing regular succinct updates on milestone progress and changes to the project
  • Following a Project Management playbook including roles & responsibilities, processes/procedures, contract management, and reporting
  • Communication
  • The ability to successfully collaborate with a large and wide-ranging set of internal stakeholders to solve issues, manage changes, and drive the timely completion of a portfolio of projects
  • Effectively and efficiently directing Architects/Engineers, Contractors, and other consultants in the expeditious and cost-effective deliver of work
  • Skillfully documenting the status of the project through written communication as a means to properly communicate within the project team

Qualifications

BS in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a closely related field is preferred, but not required.

10+ years' of experience in the management of similar technical projects.

Highly preferred experience in R&D, aerospace, or manufacturing.

Ability to be on-site as required, a minimum of three days a week.
