We have an exciting new opening for a Senior Office Engineer to join our dynamic Construction Services team. Responsibility includes providing technical support and overseeing various aspects of project administration, ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with project requirements. Our Construction Services group is currently involved in several municipal projects, and our ideal candidate will bring their industry knowledge along with a collaborative spirit, to be a key member in driving improvements in the department.

[Responsibility Highlights for our Senior Office Engineer]{.underline}

  • Manage file documentation for multiple aspects on a job site, including contractor submittals, change management, progress payments, project documentation, meeting agendas & notes
  • Work independently and in a team setting to support department as needed
  • General project coordination
  • Support and maintain a robust document control system, including version control, access permissions, and archiving.
  • Working closely with the Resident Engineer and Construction Observers, help monitor project progress and track key metrics, such as costs, schedules, and quality control.
  • At times conduct site visits to review progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

[Minimum Qualifications to be our Senior Office Engineer]{.underline}

  • Experience with WSDOT Specifications, WSDOT LAG Manual guidelines & WSDOT Construction Manual
  • 10+ Years of Experience in related role
  • Able to travel to various job sites and/or work in the field in project provided job trailers
  • Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications
  • Familiar with Federally Funded project requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Experience with Procore, Excel, and other related programs
