Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Drainage Lead to be based in Seattle, WA.
Job Summary/Responsibilities:
Mentor, grow, and recruit staff.
Lead a team of professionals overseeing the drainage design of large scale complex projects with a near-term emphasis on design-build delivery.
Supervise and lead project plan production and technical reports.
Establish budgets and schedules for project deliverables.
Develop and manage key client relationships.
Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
Present complex technical solutions to clients.
Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others.
Participate in the development of technical proposals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and innovative drainage technologies.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to drainage systems.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize project sustainability and environmental impact.
Coordinate with contractors and construction teams during project implementation.
Conduct site visits and field investigations to assess drainage conditions and requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or relevant field
15+ years of experience in drainage design
2+ years of WSDOT highway drainage design experience within the last 4 years
A current P.E. license in the State of Washington
WSDOT Highway Runoff Manual Training Certification
Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets
Knowledge of agency/regulatory approval process, standards, and best practices
Client connections and relationships with local and state agencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills experience
Additional Information
- This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $126,505.00 - $234,034.00.
