Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently seeking aSenior Compensation Analyst to join our Human Resource team. In this role, you will provide expert compensation consulting services to business unit leadership and key human resources staff, consistent with company goals. Additional responsibilities include: Compensation Plan Review and Development Monitor effectiveness of compensation policies, procedures, and guidelines and recommend changes as needed. May provide recommendations on exempt/non-exempt status of each job across the company. Conduct research around market trends and best practices, including compensation surveys to ensure competitive pay practices. Build and maintain processes to ensure the integrity of compensation data and associated documentation, including job descriptions. Keep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation regulations; develop and document policy and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance Play a key role in variable pay program design, implementation, and administration (such as sales and bonus programs). Manage Compensation Cycle Conduct annual compensation reviews, benchmark against the market, and recommend changes to geo ranges as appropriate. Manage the merit increase program, including pay increase recommendations, communication, and implementation. Make recommendations for improvement in process and workflow relating to compensation administration. Compensation Recommendations and Communication Provide advice and counsel to human resources colleagues around compensation decisions, methodology, policy, and strategy. Provide advice and counsel to business unit leadership on pay decisions, policy interpretation, and job pricing. Assist HR Business Partners as needed to provide training to business unit leadership pertaining to compensation matters. Perform various analyses of employee data and produce relevant reports. Lead projects related to compensation-related matters as assigned. Job Development and Pricing Oversee the complete lifecycle of creating a new job or revising an existing job (job description format, final) What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance (or similar field), or equivalent experience; CCP or SCP certification preferred. 5 years of experience in the analysis, design, and administration of compensation programs (salary structures, pay ranges, job pricing, compensation survey methodology, base pay, variable pay, etc.) Experience managing projects. Experience with compensation survey tools. Understanding how to link compensation practices to company goals and objectives. Strong analytical statistical, and problem solving skills. Ability to consult and collaborate effectively with business leaders and HR colleagues. Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information effectively to business leaders. Strong Excel skills including advanced features (pivot tables, look-ups, macros, etc.). Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll reporting systems. Working knowledge of applicabl
