Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) has been the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. This team is diverse, it builds and supports products, applications for AWS sellers, manages large scale infrastructure of 1P and 3P platforms. The AFX (AWS Field Experience) team with in SMGS, is looking for a passionate, innovative, committed System Development Engineer (SysDev)

Key job responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customization.

• Support cross systems and related integrations across native Salesforce eco system.

• Build solution on Salesforce.com platform, including development in Force.com, Visualforce, LWC, Apex , Web Services and API's.

-Work with a cross-functional Scrum team to maintain and enhance Salesforce applications in iterative release cycles

• Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues

• Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• 4+ years Salesforce Development experience to include configuration, customization, programming with APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Triggers, Workflows with actions, Approval Processes, Reports & Dashboards. Experience with Javascript, HTML CSS and ANT.

• Experience with Salesforce.com architecture and APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building complex, scalable, and high-performance software systems.

• Experience with integrations and knowledge of integration patterns

• Certified Salesforce Developer.

• Experience as lead or technical architect of a Salesforce org

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
