JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the AVP of Risk, the Risk Management Coordinator provides moderately complex and confidential administrative support to the YGS Risk Management. This shall include providing information and assistance to YGS staff through the Risk Management ticketing system; reviewing Incident Reports for accurate information and following up with staff as necessary, filing and tracking insurance claims; reviewing and confirming training documentation related to authorized drivers, managing and requesting certificates of insurance for and from vendors; and tracking and organizing staff trainings. The Coordinator will also maintain department records and files (both electronic and paper) and the Risk Management SharePoint site.

Hiring range: $25.88 - $33.00/ hour
Responsibilities
Support Risk Management team by fielding all Risk Management related support tickets and elevating issues as necessary.
Auditing YGS internal Policy Hub Sharepoint site to ensure that policies are appropriately labeled, stored and updated per YGS compliance standards.
Reviewing LogicManager Incident reports to ensure accurate data entry and following up with site teams as necessary to ensure proper documentation of claims.
Preparing LogicManager data reports for use in communications to Senior Leadership and outside claims representatives.
Assist AVP of Risk Management in the timely reporting and tracking of insurance claims.
Reviewing and tracking Certificates of Insurance provided by third-party vendors.
Assist with coordinating Risk Management related trainings in partnership with the YGS Learning and Development team.
Support Risk Managers with entering and tracking data related to facility safety and aquatics audits.
Assist Risk Managers with compiling and tracking meeting minutes and follow up items generated from association safety committees.
Review Authorized Driver documentation to ensure compliance with YGS training standards and issue Authorized Driver certificates as appropriate.
Monitor and reply to inquiries that are submitted to the team’s ticketing system, ensuring all service level agreements are met and issues are escalated when needed.
Organize and implement team communications by submitting announcements and programmatic updates through company communications channels and updating team SharePoint site.
Foster a culture of compliance by creating reports to support organizational leaders in reviewing their team’s training and operational compliance status.
Assist and manage the ordering and tracking of First Aid/AED and other safety related equipment.
Support other areas of the Risk team during high volume times of the year.
Attend trainings, participate in Risk meetings, and engage in other professional development opportunities to develop a strong understanding of Risk and Insurance policies and industry high impact practices.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. We are currently working on a hybrid model working 2-3 days in person. This role requires working at our Association Office located in Downtown Seattle as well as commuting to centers/program sites.
The Association Office working office space includes an open office concept with multiple staff working in one room. Desks are adjustable to various heights.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms . Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus . This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. At times, c leaning and organizing of training equipment will be required , using approved chemicals.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, typically 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties require.

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a risk management, insurance, legal or other compliance based industry
Experience managing email communications and serving various stakeholders
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Intermediate computer skills with demonstrated attention to detail
Experience with Microsoft Office suite (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.) and a commitment to building equity, justice, and anti-racism into work practices
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Experience in incident reporting processes and/or liability claims management
Experience in organizing and/or facilitating trainings
Experience working with SharePoint and/or LogicManager
Ability to speak any language in addition to English
