Meta Retail Operations Analyst, Reality Labs in Seattle, Washington

Summary:

Meta is looking for a Reality Labs (RL) Retail Operations Analyst. This person will be responsible for planning, budgeting, communicating, building, maintaining, and reporting on all aspects as it relates to Channel Experiences Operations programs across all of our existing and future partners. There will be a required financial focus that this role will require. This role plays an instrumental part in contributing to the RL vision for our global customers to find, learn and experience RL products through physical retail. It is beneficial to have experience with retail and marketing operations, data architecture and analysis, dashboarding/visualization of data, and budget management.The candidate must be able to plan, execute, and evaluate complex projects where analysis of situations and decision making requires an evaluation of unclear and unknown factors. Building relationships to influence leadership to align on direction for broad projects spanning across several organizations is a critical capability. The primary role of the RL Retail Operations Analyst is to ensure that everything data, budget and records related is maintained, housed, and managed with accuracy, accessibility and visualization (dashboards) in mind. In addition, mastery and maintenance of the budget is critical to the operations. Being able to proactively identify problems and assess problems when presented to create and implement a solution. The role is impact, accuracy and organization oriented with the goal of defining functional strategy and setting goals across orgs. The RL Retail Operations Analyst must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with constant change executing multiple projects, while working collaboratively and communicating clearly across teams such as channel marketing, finance, operations, sales, analytics, and external vendors.

Required Skills:

Retail Operations Analyst, Reality Labs Responsibilities:

  1. Build processes for the org based on business needs and requirements presented from the org.

  2. Manage/Maintain/Visualize large volumes of data from multiple sources globally.

  3. Partner closely with Channel Marketing Managers, Strategic Account Managers, 3rd party labor partners, Analytics and Channel Services team members on a regular basis to run the business with the utmost efficiency and accuracy.

  4. Act as liaison between global 3rd party labor partners, channel marketing managers and channel services for data management.

  5. Assess and make calculated decisions to maximize ROI and efficiency by leveraging partnerships with the internal analytics team.

  6. Build highly detailed analysis recommendations for a variety of RL initiatives across all product lines.

  7. Create, maintain, and enforce processes for all operations globally in store and with 3rd party labor partners.

  8. Review instructions and execution for multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.

  9. Manage the reporting of the results of the field execution to internal stakeholders via internal dashboards.

  10. Process all invoices and work closely with the Global Field Merchandising Manager to ensure all 3rd party labor projects are on budget and tracked accordingly.

  11. Develop and launch KPI management tools and dashboard by managing engineering resources.

  12. Partner with Finance and the Center of Excellence on budget forecast and management.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of professional experience in retail, finance, channel marketing analytics or relevant experience.

  2. 3+ years of retail operations, channel marketing analytics or relevant experience.

  3. Budget and fiscal management experience.

  4. Experience understanding the unique operating conditions within retailers domestically and globally and how that impacts the planning and executing of the initiatives for all product lines.

  5. Experience sharing program/project updates across broad teams and organizations - transparency is key within the Meta environment.

  6. Experience Creating/Managing Data Visualization

  7. Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail with the experience to track and articulate the intricacies of reporting results for project execution.

  8. Experience managing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.

  9. Experience with Tableau, PowerBi, Alteryx, Hive and other data visualization and customization tools.

  10. Experience managing data pipelines and ingestion processes

  1. Consumer Electronics experience.

  2. Tableau Certified Data Analyst preferred

  3. Microsoft and Google Suite expert proficiency

  4. Familiarity with retail partners and their guidelines / processes.

  5. Experience within a brand managing analysis and budgets.

  6. Experience in reporting on large-scale launches and programs.

  7. Experience in working in a highly cross-functional setting.

  8. Experience translating complex engineering and data related items to make them understandable by the lowest common denominator.

  9. Data Modeling and Analysis

  10. Familiarity working with SAP or Oracle financial systems datasets

  11. Understanding of SQL subqueries, statements, join types, window functions, common table expressions

Public Compensation:

$116,000/year to $166,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
