Why is the Quality Inspector Technician role important to us?

Quickparts is looking for a Quality Inspector Technician to ensure that our manufactured parts meet the highest quality standards.

The Quality Inspector Technician will be responsible for inspecting, boxing, and shipping parts per verbal and written instructions. This role also involves performing dimensional checks, using basic measuring tools, and adhering to strict confidentiality and safety protocols. The right candidate will possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills, helping to maintain our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Perform visual inspection of parts to confirm quality
  • Box parts for shipment accurately and safely
  • Complete daily shipping reports and ensure timely processing of orders
  • Conduct dimensional inspections using basic measuring tools
  • Follow finish level and material specifications per work order instructions
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas
  • Prepare parts for shipment by appropriate fixture and wrapping procedures

     

You might be a good fit if you have/are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of related experience in a similar role
  • Good computer skills and strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools and handle moderate physical activity (lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds frequently)
  • Attention to detail, quality-conscious mindset, and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong organizational capabilities and teamwork skills
