Blue Origin LLC Project Manager III - Fluid Components in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will support the Valve Production Leader to ensure successful & timely execution of program commitments while managing team communications and team building activities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional managers, individual contributors along with project managers and stakeholders outside of this team. This is a high visibility role that must communicate effectively with many levels of the organization. You will be responsible for developing, championing & deploying tools to facilitate the communication and deliverable tracking. Special Mentions Relocation provided Travel expected up to 5% of the time Shift: M-F Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Track short-term & longer-term activities across the Valve Production team, ensuring that such activities are prioritized adequately relative to the overall program schedule. Work closely with Manufacturing Engineers and Design Engineers to remove roadblocks, particularly with drawing reviews, testing campaigns (internal & external), purchase orders, configuration management (i.e., document release process), shipping & receiving, etc. Develop/communicate key metrics with visibility across the team and key stakeholders. Support flow-down of company-wide command media to ensure proper compliance. Identify gaps in terms of resources and work with other managers and director to develop solutions through temporary transfers as well as through external hiring Availability for work required during core business hours. Travel and work after hours may be needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Highly organized individual 3+ years experience in a project management role. Demonstrated ability to operate, make decisions, lead, and make forward progress in ambiguous environments. Very strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle small and large projects with a diversity of internal and external customers. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Demonstrated written & verbal communication skills, through creation/updating of web pages, internal email communications for large audiences, effective Powerpoint presentations, etc. Proficient in the use of project management tools (Microsoft project, Primavera, JIRA, etc) Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Preferred Location is onsite in Kent WA for this role. Preferred Qualifications Experience with launch vehicle development, production and operations Program Management Professional (PMP) certification and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience. Experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management and Cost Account Management such as EVM.
