The Role We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Structural Practice. Candidates for the Structural Engineer position should have experience in medium to large size projects such as cultural buildings, office buildings, health care and research facility design, and tenant renovation work preferably in a consulting engineering firm environment. Responsibilities * Assist in the direction, coordination, planning, organization, integration, and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. * Communicate with clients to understand project requirements. * Plan and formulate engineering program and organize project staff according to project requirements. * Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of buildings and materials using various building codes. * Manage other design team members and supervise the work of engineers and draft persons. * Direct project staff in preparing contract documents, such as drawings and specifications. Responsibilities * Master's degree in Engineering required. * Professional Engineer and/or SE License preferred. * Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally. Compensation The rate for this position generally is$90,000-$105,000annually.This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the Washington State Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful Washington State applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in Washington State or perform the position from Washington State. Similar positions located outside of Washington State will not necessarily receive the same compensation.Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted byWashingtonEqual Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
