Description
We are looking for a entrepreneurial leader that is passionate about food products and brands. We are looking for a customer-obsessed, growth minded Sr. Product Manager to help identify concepts and bring them to commercialization. In this role, you will be in charge of identifying new food product development opportunities and bringing them to market. The ideal candidate should be passionate about food products, have strong physical product development skills as well as outstanding project management abilities. They should excel in both strategic thinking and tactical execution, as responsibilities range from creating business plans to driving development. The candidate should also feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in an entrepreneurial environment. Traits of success: - Understand market trends and build business cases for new product opportunities. - Manage food product lifecycle from ideation through commercialization. - Be a smart, hard-working and creative person who loves products, loves solving difficult problems and "getting it done." - Be comfortable collaborating and influencing team members - Be responsible for building and executing on new initiatives and roadmaps each year.
Key job responsibilities
Manage physical food products through the commercialization steps from sourcing, through to ensuring it's on shelf in our grocery stores and available online.
Analyze market trends and create a roadmap of Private Branded food products for the year ahead
Manage business operations of an existing food product portfolio
About the team
The AmazonFresh Private Brands team is made up of functions including Product, Marketing, Product Quality, Supply Chain, and Strategy & Scaling. The Product team are responsible for commercializing food products through the commercialization process leaning on our key stakeholder teams to ensure we build customer loved products.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of product management experience
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
Experience developing operational processes and technologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
