This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams and locations. We are actively seeking a dynamic and strategic Principal HR Business Partner (HRBP) to lead and shape HR strategies pivotal to the success of Blue Origin's Business Units. As a vital driver of organizational goals, you will directly influence HR initiatives that support and enhance business delivery. Reporting to the Sr. Director of HR for Business Unit and Corporate HRBP teams, you will be a critical partner to senior leaders and executives! We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Act as the lead HR strategist for Business Unit leaders, deeply understanding their objectives and challenges to deliver targeted HR solutions. Take ownership of the creation and execution of HR strategies that align with the Business Unit's strategic priorities. Leading and integrating diverse HR functions, including talent management, talent acquisition, DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility), and compensation, to create and drive a unified approach that supports overall business goals. Drive initiatives that significantly improve employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture. Provide high-level consultation and coaching to leaders on complex HR issues, including employee relations, compensation, and organizational development, demonstrating expertise and leadership. Applying data and analytics, you will inform and refine HR practices, offering actionable insights and recommendations that lead to measurable improvements in business outcomes. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 10+ years of experience in Human Resources with 7+ years of experience in HRBP positions. Experience supporting technology and/or engineering organizations. A deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations regarding both exempt and non-exempt labor. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in business, human capital management, interpersonal psychology, or related field.
