As part of a diverse and hardworking team of professionals, specialists, and engineers, you will lead efforts to manage and direct suppliers and teammates to support maintenance operations and sustainment of various spaceflight system spares. You will interact with our internal customers and program to address concerns and ensure deliveries are on track. The New Shepard (NS) Spares Program Manager has overall responsibility, accountability, and authority of the spares management process, working with NS Commercial Operations (NSCO), NS elements, Supply Chain's demand planners in Production Control and Supply Chain Management, and monitoring execution of the process in accordance with program strategic objectives. The NS Spares Program Manager is responsible for coordinating within the NSCOand Elements to submit and manage the NS Spares budget, schedule, and prioritization as well as coordination across elements and supporting functions. This function directly supports the NS Business Unit. The Spares Program Manager within the NSOM maintenance team will drive strategic planning, budget management, development and execution of spare parts programs. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely availability of parts, aligning with program needs and objectives. The ideal candidate will take ownership of inventory management, procurement, and supply chain strategies to optimize operations and support maintenance activities. Proven leadership and negotiation skills are essential to influence stakeholders and achieve program goals within budget and schedule constraints, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency across the organization. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within maintenance and operations. Proficient in Supply Chain and Program Management, including procurement, planning, MRP/ERP systems, BOM structures, and material estimating. Demonstrated negotiation skills in contracts, terms and conditions (T&C's), and supplier management. Experience developing and executing project plans within budget and schedule, managing multiple programs. Proven experience managing complex projects with aggressive schedules and limited resources.
