Confidential Nanny in Seattle, Washington

Job opportunity is temporary, full-time position for one job opening of a full-time nanny for 5 and 8 year old children. The anticipated start date is June 30, 2024 and end date is April 29, 2025. Work hours will vary weekly due to parents' dynamic work schedules. Three days per week, the work hours will be 5:30-9AM and then again at 2-7PM. Twice per week, the hours will be 2-9PM. Occasionally weekend, holiday, and overnight child care is needed. Every week there will be half a day off with a consecutive full day off, but these off days will vary dependent on the childcare needs for the week.

In case one of the children is sick, then the nanny will need to stay with the child until one of the parents can come home from work. Therefore, flexibility with the work schedule is needed. The rest of the week's schedule will accommodate for this change and ensure the week's total hours will not surpass 40 hours.

The nanny should have a passion for working with children. Patience and communication are needed to understand and meet the children's emotional, physical, and mental needs. The nanny should be able to perform light cooking for breakfast, packed lunch boxes, and dinner. Cleanliness and organizational skills are needed to keep the playroom, children's rooms, and other commonly used rooms in a tidy order. Driving experience of more than two years is required as well as owning a car. Punctuality is required. A stipend for gasoline used to commute to the children's afternoon activities will be provided. The geographic area of intended employment is Seattle with after-school activities within 4 mile radius of the primary location of intended employment. The salary is $39,520 per year and will be rendered to the Nanny as a weekly salary. Deductions from the paycheck will be made by the employer as required by law. On-the-job training will be provided for first two weeks. A single workweek will be used as its standard for computing wages due. No board, lodging or other facilities, or other benefits are provided. No reimbursement will be made for transportation from and to the place from which the Nanny has come to work for the employer. The Nanny will be expected to arrive at the primary location of intended employment on their own accord. Fees for visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related feeds will be reimbursed. Tools and supplies required to perform duties will be provided without charge.
