Our global partner specializes in high-quality nonclinical, clinical, and commercialization services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Our partner also services quality laboratory testing services across the chemical, agrochemical, and food industries. They are in search of a Medical Lab Scientist II t o be a part of their team in Seattle, WA.

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 3pm - 11:30pm (rotating weekends)

Pay Rate: $30/hr - $36/hr

Responsibilities:

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.

• Perform routine and complex technical procedures

• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.

• Assist with processing of specimens when needed.

• Conduct and document preventive maintenance and quality control.

• Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment, following SOPs

• Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem-solving.

• Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.

• Report accurate and timely test results to support quality patient care.

• Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology preferred; open to MLT certificate

• 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience.

• Experience in Blood Banking is required.

• ASCP or AMT certification required.

• Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Must pass a standardized color vision screen.
