Job Description
Looking to hire a 2-4 year Mechanical Engineer to work full time in office downtown Seattle for a large MEP firm. This candidate will be responsible for designing educational, mission-critical, retail, datacenter, federal, and commercial projects. The role offers the opportunity to work in a multi-discipline design-build firm that values career growth and longevity, with an average tenure of 17 years among lead staff. The company has a backlog extending out for 3 years, ensuring job security and a steady flow of projects.
Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical systems for educational, mission-critical, retail, datacenter, federal, and commercial projects.
Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam software for project designs.
Collaborate with clients to meet their design specifications.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
Work closely with construction teams to oversee project execution.
Essential Skills
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Mechanical Engineering Consulting Industry.
2+ years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in plan spec or design build.
Strong understanding of mechanical design and HVAC systems.
EIT License preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Open to candidates with 1+ years of experience or 1-2 internships, though 2+ years of experience is preferred.
Production-heavy position requiring attention to detail and efficiency.
Work Environment
The position starts with a 5-day in-office schedule, with the potential to transition to a telecommute/hybrid model after the orientation period. The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $77.00
