Passion for our mission and vision is required! This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of diverse Supply Chain and Planning specialists, you will support the design, development, and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, organization, planning, and project management skills. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight. Special Mentions New System Implementation Projects Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Evaluate and act on MRP action messages, ensuring material availability to support production schedule Monitor MRP forecasts, inventory, customer demand, production requirements, inventory transactions and reject material Evaluate and adjust Planning Attributes within the Item Master to improve planned order quantities and accuracy Key team member in planning, training, implementation, and support of new ERP functionality and reporting Responsible for firming Planned Orders into Manufacturing Orders and Purchase Requisitions Generate and maintain Transfer Reservations to coordinate cross-site material planning needs Manage Project Transfers within your assigned scope of work Authorize Project Transfer requests from other programs Manage dates on Firm Planned Manufacturing Orders to align with the baseline and recovery production schedules Manage Material Requirements on Firm Planned Manufacturing orders to drive the correct build configurations Support Engineering Change Impact Assessments and resulting material planning actions Ensure finished products are issued to Sales Orders and/or Inventory Reservations upon completion of the independent demand requirement Minimum Qualifications Production planning or supply chain experience Intermediate skills with MS Office Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications Experience working directly within an MRP system Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related field ASCM / APICS certification SQL or Advanced Excel Experience Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and oral communication skills Strong math and analytical skills to solve problems Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Adaptab
