Your engagement spans all program phases, from conceptual design, through development, production, deployment, and post-flight. As a systems engineer focused on mass properties, you will be responsible for managing the engine mass throughout the development lifecycle. This includes identifying mass savings opportunities at the engine system level, partnering with design teams to develop cost/benefit analysis, tracking engine mass and predicting future mass as designs are refined and risks and opportunities are realized. You will contribute to continuous improvement of mass properties processes and tools, relentlessly focusing on value and seeking to eliminate waste in our processes and tools whenever possible. This work will require close partnership with engineers in mass properties, manufacturing, quality, cost, and software development across the business. Your ability to partner and earn trust with folk across the organization is essential to our success. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
