*In this position you will: *
- Support grades K-5 in SIPPS Reading Intervention and Math via whole-class support, small group tutoring, and one-on-one tutoring at James Baldwin Elementary School (11725 1st Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98125)
- Assist teachers and other school staff with group instruction, classroom activities, and special projects
- Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration
- Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more!
- Get paid $23/hour
- Accrue paid sick leave
Schedule:
- Start Date: October 7th, 2024
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays - 8:15am to 1:30pm
- Wednesdays - 8:00am to 12:45pm
- 20.5 hours a week
