Description

Robert Half is supporting a 6 month contract for a recruiter in healthcare. This is a fully onsite position.

The Healthcare Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and recommending prospective employees for open healthcare roles. This includes using various platforms to search for potential candidates, conducting preliminary screenings, and arranging interviews with hiring managers. They will collaborate with HR and hiring managers to create recruiting strategies, job descriptions, and qualification summaries.

Healthcare Recruiters must have superb communication and interviewing skills, extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, and fair understanding of the occupational health and safety laws and regulations. They should be comfortable with establishing contacts within the industry and attending relevant events and seminars.

Their responsibilities also encompass maintaining records of all communication with candidates, assisting in onboarding of new hires, and staying current with the industry trends. They should ensure all recruitment policies and procedures comply with applicable local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations, and ensure a smooth and fair hiring process.

Requirements

he qualifications for a Healthcare Recruiter role typically include:

  • 3 years of experience in Healthcare Recruiting

  • Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the healthcare industry.

  • Strong knowledge of hiring processes and regulations within the healthcare industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in recruitment software and platforms as well as Microsoft Office applications.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of medical terminologies and different roles in healthcare is a big plus.

  • Certification from HR bodies such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) can be advantageous.
