Meta Go to Channel Planning Manager, Reality Labs in Seattle, Washington

Summary:

Meta Reality Labs is looking for a Global Sales Go to Channel Planning Manager focused on supporting the growth of the Realty Labs Mixed Reality & Wearables businesses. Specific product categories include both the Meta Quest & Smart Glasses portfolio across retail, telco, direct-to-consumer, and commercial sales channels. This role will be responsible for the on-time development and delivery of channel sales partner-ready sell-in materials to enable our channel sales teams to have the right conversations with partners at the right moments as part of both new and existing products, roadmap disclosure, seasonal sales planning, and external partner moments including CES. This role will also support the Head of Global Sales Planning as part of internal/ external sales moments, and program management for the development & delivery of key planning deliverables and programs throughout the year, all focused on driving the growth of our overall business. A successful candidate will have experience in managing complex programs in a growth environment, be passionate about solving problems, excel at simplifying complex messages into partner-ready category selling stories, and building, running and optimizing processes in-line with business objectives. This role involves extensive collaboration and communication across cross-functional stakeholders, executive leadership, and third party vendors – including category management, product marketing, channel sales teams, and executive leadership.

Go to Channel Planning Manager, Reality Labs Responsibilities:

  1. Channel Sales Partner Enablement

  2. Lead content strategy, development, & delivery of annual, seasonal, and NPI partner ready pitch decks for both Mixed Reality and Wearables product categories to support partner sell-in and sell-through readiness.

  3. Manage agency relationships, content calendars, and engagement for creative services & design.

  4. Lead internal training & readiness moments to help prepare the RL Global Sales Organization to engage with partners during key moments. Drive follow ups as needed. Close loops proactively.

  5. Global Sales Strategy Planning

  6. Bring process rigor & execution excellence to RL Global Sales planning rhythms to ensure the on-time development, delivery, and communication of key work outputs.

  7. Kick off & run sales organizational programs inline with business objectives.

  8. Lead planning & content readiness for all things internal/external rhythm of business, communications, events, and strategy planning offsites. .

  9. Go to Channel Integrated Planning

  10. Run Integrated Planning Calendar Program, tracking, communications and blocker resolution.

  11. Create detailed project plans outlining all tasks, timelines, and dependency requirements . Monitor / track progress against goals and make adjustments as needed.

  12. Bring the right people together at the right moments to have the right conversations to develop & deliver robust go to channel deliverables in prep for global, cross-channel sales execution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of experience in Category Management, Channel Sales, Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, or Chief of Staff for a Sales/ Marketing organization– or some relevant combination

  2. Business acumen and storytelling skills, experience translating complex concepts into external-partner ready pitch decks to be shared with retailers.

  3. Experience drivinb results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a track record of executing complex projects and initiatives.

  4. Experience with Google or Microsoft productivity tools

  5. Organizational and problem-solving skills, with experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

  6. BA/BS in Business or Marketing related field (or similar work experience).

  1. Experience with multi-channel business, inclusive of consumer electronics retail, telcos, B2B Commercial resellers, and direct to consumer channels across online and B&M sales motions.

  4. Problem solving, project and program management skills

  5. Experience callobrating and experience communicating across varied stakeholders and influence without authority

  6. Experience dealing with ambiguity, navigating through uncertain situations and quickly adapt to change

Public Compensation:

$142,000/year to $202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
