Join our Seattle Service Team to make an impact! We are currently looking for a current Local 66 Member to join the McKinstry team as an HVAC Technician -Fire, Smoke, Damper. The technician will bring 1+ years of experience in inspecting, testing, and repairing fire and smoke damper systems per NFPA codes.
The role offers the chance to work closely with McKinstry’s service team and externally with internal and external customers.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Performing maintenance, repairs and augmentation of ductwork, damper actuators, and smoke walls.
Assisting with inspection and troubleshooting of fire smoke dampers and smoke control systems.
Providing stairwell pressurization testing.

Requirements:
At minimum, an 06/06A electrical training card
ICB certification as a Fire and Smoke Damper Technician
The ability to test fire and smoke dampers
