Ferguson has an opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our team!

This role drives financial expertise within assigned markets and is the primary resource for finance related activities. You will drive improved business performance as a trusted adviser to District leadership.

Location:

This is a Hybrid role based out of our Phoenix AZ (111 E Buckeye Rd) or Seattle, WA (4100 W Marginal Way SW) location, in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in depth understanding of financial statements and management reporting which will identify key contributions and facilitate balanced and profitable growth.

  • Challenge and support business decisions with analytical rigor, insights and judgments for stronger decision making.

  • Balance long term business priorities with shorter term financial targets, budgets and cost controls to advise leadership.

  • Lead multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and deliver quality and timely results

  • Partner with adjacent finance departments, field finance leadership, and other areas of the business (IT, Facilities, Marketing, HR, etc.) as an advocate for the local, regional and overall business.

  • Travel within assigned markets (3-5 times annually).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related degree or equivalent work experience

  • MBA preferred.

  • 5 + years of proven experience of finance business partnering /finance manager work.

  • Self-motivated to work and drive initiative and at times under pressure.

  • Outstanding and professional communication skills.

  • Proven ability to communicate and explain sophisticated finance and operational issues to a variety of audiences (i.e. branch associates to senior executives).

  • Maintain a high degree of emotional intelligence and stability working with a multitude of personalities and within a fast pace work environment.

  • Proven ability to work across functions and delegate tasks to centralized functions such as Accounting or IT.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling.

  • Strong ability to prioritize data, perform independent analysis, and prepare/deliver grade presentations.

  • Ability and willingness to travel.

Pay Range:

$7,425.00 - $12,100.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
