POSITION OVERVIEW dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Seattle, WA. This position will be responsible for the install and service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices. HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $38.13/hr - $45/hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). Please visit our career site for more information on benefits. $500 Sign-on Bonus (candidates with a current EL 10 electrical license are eligible) WHAT YOU WILL DO Install dormakaba equipment in commercial buildings Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner WHAT WE REQUIRE Valid current driver's license Mechanical knowledge, 3+ years of relevant experience Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment Physical requirements, including ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead WHAT WE PREFER Electrical license (EL 10 Electrical License) or knowledge of basic electronics and electrical theory, principles of microprocessor-controlled equipment and multi-meter instruments 2+ years' experience as an automatic door installer or service technician AAADM certification WHAT WE OFFER Taking Care of our employees on day one with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
