ManpowerGroup Failure Analysis Lab Technician in Seattle, Washington

Our client, a Global Corporation headquartered in the Pacific NW is seeking a Failure Analysis Lab Technician to join their team. As a Failure Analysis Lab Technician you will be part of the R&D Organization supporting the most ambitious organizations to invent cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate will have experience in sample prep, optical microscopes and material characterization which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Failure Analysis Lab Technician

Location: Seattle | Fully onsite

Pay Range: $32/HR on Experis W2

What’s the Job?

  • As a Failure Analysis Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting technical lab work which supports prototype failure analysis and materials development investigations.

  • You will develop and execute SOPs focused on producing world-class analysis outcomes in the areas of sample preparation and physical/chemical characterization.

  • You will provide technical support for materials and failure analysis investigations with the goal of driving design and manufacturing improvements.

  • Due to export control laws, all candidates must US Citizen or US Permanent Resident work authorization

What’s Needed?

  • 2 years’ related work experience with Associate of Science degree in laboratory technology, electron microscopy, x-ray analysis or related field

  • Experience in performing bulk materials or electronics cross sections

  • Excellent written/communication skills

  • Experience with lab safety best-practices

  • Experience in writing SOP documents and lab reports
