GLP Attorneys is seeking an Experienced *Legal Assistant or Junior Paralegal *to join our team in Seattle. This position may be offered as a hybrid role.
This position will encompass a wide range of tasks. You will set up new client files, communicate with various parties, manage medical bill payments, address client queries, conduct client reviews, handle client correspondence, manage case records, assist in PIP claims, and ensure account balances are accurate, among other tasks. Your contributions significantly impact the outstanding results we deliver for our clients.
Requirements:
In this position, you will:
- Work closely with your legal team(s), which typically consists of an Attorney and a Paralegal.
- Legal Assistants are responsible for providing a broad range of administrative and operational support to assist their assigned legal team in effectively and efficiently carrying out managing their cases.
Qualified candidates should have experience including:
- High school diploma required. Advance education preferred, including, paralegal certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of legal assistant or professional office work experience is required. The equivalent combination of education and experience will qualify.
- Competency working with the Microsoft Suite of office products.
- Preference is given to those with experience in plaintiff's personal injury.
- Those are who self-motivated and enjoy multi-tasking.
- Those that are team-focused and client-orientated.
- Individuals who can balance being detail-orientated with productivity and efficiency.
- A strong writer and familiarity with drafting correspondence.
- Being comfortable with talking to healthcare providers and clients.
