Description

The Alexa Entertainment Devices and Services (AEDS) organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for a thoughtful and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support two business development Directors in the Content Applications & Partner Engagement (CAPE) team. While the CAPE organization is global, this role is Seattle or New York based, and will be joining the current group of stellar EAs, who are all highly collaborative, communicative, and fun.

This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, great organization and prioritization skills, the ability to plan ahead and to meet tight deadlines, all while juggling multiple critical requests. You’ll need to take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups. High judgment and problem solving skills are a must. You also will need to effectively manage interactions with external partners, often with the offices of C level executives, globally.

  • Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.

  • Manage headcount and recruiting information for space planning purposes. Manage seating at team sites and assist with coordinating team moves.

  • Scheduling cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation. Create detailed travel itineraries (including smooth transitions between time zones). Submit expense reports in a timely fashion.

  • Coordinate closely with other Executive Assistants within AEDS and the wider Amazon community.

  • Experience with handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside the company.
