Responsibilities
Under the direction of a Dermatologist and/or Mohs surgeon, the Dermatology Technician will provide clinical, surgical, and administrative support in an ambulatory care setting. The dermatology Tech will work with patients seeking care for general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, and the dermatology Tech will make the patient’s comfort, safety, and confidentiality the primary concern. Provides direct patient care with rooming and preparing patients for visits, assisting physicians in procedures and surgeries, and laser treatments across Dermatology and Mohs as required by manager, and under the direct supervision of the provider.

Qualifications
We Require
High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant – Certified required
Maintain active CPR
At least 1 year of experience as a practicing medical assistant in a dermatology or MOHS clinic/setting, or LPN with procedural skills and demonstrated competency of skills
Completion of the Association of Certified Dermatology Techs (ACDT) program within 1 year of employment. This includes completion of all online modules, in-house tests and validation of competency with manager/supervisor.
Current Association of Certified Dermatology Techs (ACDT) credential preferred.
An AA degree is preferred.

Pay Range
$27.00 - $36.79 /hour
