Job Description
Turner & Townsend are seeking a motivated Healthcare Construction Cost and Estimating Consultant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this onsite role, you will be responsible for gathering and structuring healthcare cost data from clients, preparing, and uploading the data into a cloud service delivery and data management platform, and assisting clients in using internal software for conceptual estimating.
Responsibilities:
Gather healthcare cost data from clients, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Structure the collected data into a detailed Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for uploading into a cloud service delivery and data management platform
Act as the main point of contact for clients using internal data management platform software, providing guidance and answering questions related to cost data structuring and conceptual estimating.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the client on how to use our internal database and project delivery platforms effectively for conceptual estimating.
Review conceptual estimates that the client generates using internal database software, providing feedback, recommendations, and quality assurance to ensure estimates are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
Work closely with the internal estimating team to learn and gain experience in cost estimation processes.
Participate in ongoing training and development to increase knowledge in both cost management and estimating.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Experience in cost data analysis, estimating, or cost management is preferred.
Exposure to estimating software and internal cloud service delivery + data management platforms is an advantage.
Familiarity with cost structures, conceptual estimating is a plus.
Basic proficiency in Excel and other data management tools. Familiarity with cost breakdown structures (CBS) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with an ability to structure complex data into a clear and actionable format.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Open to learning and expanding skill sets in cost management or estimating.
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $105K-$135K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications
