AHBL Civil Project Engineer - Mid Level in Seattle, Washington

AHBL is a multidisciplinary firm offering services in civil and structural engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and land surveying to public and private clients alike. We are seeking a mid-level Civil Project Engineer who is eager to be involved in civil engineering design on a variety of exciting site development projects. WHAT YOU WILL DO In this role you will work on a wide range of projects, including public K-12 schools, higher education, municipal buildings, stormwater, retrofits/parks, Department of Defense, and healthcare facilities. You will collaborate with clients and other team members in preparing civil engineering designs and calculations for site developments, local roads, storm water and utility improvements, including grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, water, and other related work. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering EIT Certification 3+ years of civil design experience Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS PE license COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is dependent on which of our internal company levels the selected candidate aligns with. This role could be filled by candidates at either a Project Engineer III or Project Engineer IV level, and the hiring team will determine which level is most appropriate for each candidate based on their relevant background and experience. Actual pay will be based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Ranges are based on a 40-hour work week. Project Engineer III - $82,500 - $103,230 per year Project Engineer IV - $90,000 - $116,430 per year Annual discretionary performance-based bonus BENEFITS 100% paid employee medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life and AD&D insurance and long-term disability protection.
