Required Skills:

Business Engineer Responsibilities:

  1. Build new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with Meta product engineering teams to meet business needs.

  2. Actively seek out and apply knowledge of products, technologies and business to build solutions to solve for problems at scale.

  3. Independently break down coding projects into tasks and partner with all applicable teams and partners to meet pre-established goals.

  4. Ship and launch production level code in manageable pieces, with relevant descriptions, test plans, documentation and unit integration tests.

  5. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while quickly actioning feedback from code reviews.

  6. Maintain relationships with partner teams and clients (internal and external) and present technical opportunities in a consulting capacity.

  7. Collaborate in on-boarding of new team members.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and one year of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires one year of experience in the following:

    1. Shipping production quality code
    1. Communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
    1. Launching production level code with an emphasis on long-term maintainability in partnership with all appropriate reviewers in manageable pieces with relevant documentation and test plans
    1. Work cross-functionally to build new products
    1. Design and build end-to-end systems and launch-plan strategies.

Public Compensation:

$169,442/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
