Job Summary This position serves as a strategic leader and liaison with business stakeholders to understand and integrate their business, risk, product, financial, and regulatory requirements into technology-driven initiatives. This role collaborates with vendors to align their strategic roadmap with our business objectives and drive innovative solutions to meet business needs. Additionally, this role works with technical teams to define, translate, and implement these requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring the resulting products and business solutions satisfy business expectations and deliver measurable outcomes. Finally, this role involves strategic planning, advanced analysis, and leadership in developing and implementing technical solutions. The responsibilities outlined below primarily focus on but are not limited to, the Alloy platform. This platform is pivotal in automating essential steps of the client onboarding process, enabling faster and more accurate decisions, mitigating fraud risk, and creating a seamless client experience. As a leader, this role will embody and promote WaFd Bank's core value of simply being kind when servicing our colleagues and clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Acquire and broaden the knowledge of the Alloy application. Fully understand every business rule, threshold, workflow, and how they reduce risk when onboarding new clients. Make recommendations to the business line on enhancements that could beneficially influence business outcomes. Proactively partner with business line and product team leaders for strategic business initiatives where applications like Alloy can provide more effective and efficient solutions, deliver enhanced experiences for the back-office and clients, and drive the application's marketability. Ensure the application stays current on updates and custom solutions. Administer and perform back-end configuration within the application(s). Fraud rules, journeys, workflows, tags, reason codes, user access, and user permissions are a sample of configurations within Alloy. Partner with third parties/vendors for integration/enhancement opportunities between Alloy and new/existing applications. Perform product analysis and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure Alloy and other applications maintain or exceed WaFd's needs, where applicable. Monitor vendor alerts and notifications and determine the level of action that is appropriate. Assist with integrating new products and services into Alloy and other application(s), where applicable, while working with other technology groups to ensure compatibility with dependent systems. Participate in troubleshooting efforts with system issues and outages until resolved, which may require after-hours availability. Assist with documenting department procedures, maintaining department audit documentation, and leading training efforts on the Alloy application and other applications, where applicable.
