Overview
U.S. Anesthesia Partners (USAP) – Washington is the largest majority physician-owned and led anesthesia group in the Pacific Northwest. Our team consists of over 120 anesthesiologists and 15 CRNAs, delivering exceptional care to renowned facilities such as Swedish Medical Center’s First Hill (FH), Cherry Hill (CH), Issaquah, and Ballard campuses, as well as prominent ambulatory surgery centers across the greater Seattle area.
Job Highlights
We are looking to add a cardiac anesthesiologist to our highly skilled team, renowned for its exceptional case outcomes. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on advanced cardiac and thoracic procedures while collaborating with the distinguished teams at Swedish Medical Center and USAP WA. Positions are available for 50-100% cardiac; fully negotiable.
Cardiac operating room cases include CABG, valves, complex combinations, mitral repair, minimally invasive, LVAD, ECMO. Structural heart cases include TAVR, largest Edge to Edge (Mitral and tricuspid) practice in the USA, and Watchmans. Additionally, Swedish is a referral institution for other heart programs.
Our team is passionate about practicing at the top of their license, providing care to diverse patient populations across varied settings, and enjoying the flexibility to perform their own cases. Our other cases are highly varied, with regional, thoracic, neuro, vascular, peds, general, and OB featured prominently at our FH and CH campuses. We also teach local rotating residents on our OB floors and have monthly M&M conferences. Pay at all levels is highly flexible and dependent on work, but not on the type of case or medical insurance, which incentivizes our physicians to do what they most enjoy. We have a very supportive work environment with knowledgeable anesthesia techs, morning/lunch breaks provided, and an extra hand often available to help in case of emergencies.
Comprehensive Benefits and Compensation
Partner Track estimated starting compensation ranges from $500k to $600k, depending on case volume, years of clinical experience, call schedule, weighted work hours, and any relevant specialty training (CV, OB, etc.). Increased compensation is available upon partnership.
Flexible Associate estimated starting compensation ranges from $575k-$600k and allows you the option to flex down to a 4-day work week, if desired.
