Description Advanced Telemetry Technician @ Swedish First Hill Full Time Night Shift A member of the Patient Care Services team the TeleICU Monitor Technician I Telesitter functions to provide continuous close monitoring for behavioral management or protective management observation. Patients may require observation for patient behaviors/disorders, medical conditions, falls risks and or special needs. The TeleICU Monitor Technician I Telesitter is responsible for continuously monitoring patients from a remote workstation located in the TeleICU Clinical Operations Room (COR). One type of monitoring will be conducted at a time: 1) TeleICU Monitor Technician I Telesitter monitoring via telemetry of pulse oxygen saturation (Sp02) levels, or 2) monitoring via visual observation for patient safety behaviors through continuous video. Additionally, the TeleICU Monitor Technician I Telesitter provides clerical support to the workflows of the TeleICU clinical staff (Monitor Technician II) as assigned.
