$5000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine. UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for an ADVANCED CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGIST (CVT) in the CARDIAC CATHETERIZATION (CATH) LAB. WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 100% FTE, Full-time, 40-hours-per-week

  • Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 5:30pm, with rotating day off

  • On-Call Shifts after regular department hours according to a monthly schedule. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: Heart Institute at UW Medical Center – Montlake provides a full range of heart healthcare and prevention services.Our services include general cardiology, cardiac diagnostic imaging tests and procedures, cardiac surgery, arrhythmia management and electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, structural heart services, advanced heart failure management, heart transplant and ventricular assist devices (VADs), adult congenital heart disease management, cardiac psychiatry, cardiovascular genetics and other advanced services.   • Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating complex interventional cardiology cases.

  • Effectively communicate with physicians and other staff about changes in the patient’s condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and symptomatology. May participate in performance improvement and CQI activities within the department.

  • Case types include all complex coronary (PCI, CTO, Brachy), structural heart (TAVR, TMVR, Mitraclip, Tricuspid clip, LAAO, ASD/PFO/VSD, etc.), heart failure/transplant (Biopsies, RHC, Impella, Tandem, ECMO, IABP) and adult-congenital procedures REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) program AND registration by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) AND Licensure by the State of Washington as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS)OR
